General Return Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may send your item(s) for return within 5 days of receipt. We provide full Store Credit as long as the product is received in new condition.  Any original freight/handling cost is deducted from your store credit if shipping was complimentary at checkout.  All products on Sale are Final Sale and Not Returnable.  

To return an item(s) please email: hottrendzusa@gmail.com to obtain your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) which our support team will provide for all authorized returns.  Once you receive your RMA number send your return items back for return using insured UPS or FedX for safe receipt.

All item/s must be unworn and unaltered, and all original tags must be attached. Laundered, smoked in, used and worn items will not be accepted.

Returns will not be accepted if you do not first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from hottrendzusa@gmail.com. If shipping was complimentary at checkout, original freight/handling cost will be deducted. 

  • Any returns which are received after 5 days of receiving your RMA  will be accessed a 20% late fee.

  • Any returns without an RMA are subject to a penalty of 50% percent of the purchase amount.

  • Any returns which apply coupon codes or promotion code at purchase will be deducted a 20% penalty and issued a store credit.

  • We do not accept returns after 14 days.

 

Cancellation Policy on In-Stock and Special Order Items

Your order can be cancelled at no charge four (4) hours prior to processing.*

  • In-Stock Items - If you wish to cancel your order four (4) hours after placing your order online you will be charged a 15% cancellation fee and issued a monetary refund. If your order has already shipped, it will be considered as an original purchase and processed as any other return following our store policies.

  • Special Order Items - If you wish to cancel a Special Order Item from your order after it has been processed,* a 50% restocking fee will be applied and deducted from your Store Credit. (These items are cut specifically for you)

*Processing/Processed- payment verified, item(s) ordered and confirmed by our vendors.

 

Sale Products | Bridal & Quinceanera Gowns | Custom Order Dresses

We do not accept Sale, Discount, or Mark Down product returns. All products sold with a discount are Final Sale and non-returnable. Custom order, Bridal & Quinceanera Gowns, and dresses from Beside Couture, Gatti Nolli, Saboroma, and Cristallini are subject to a 50% restocking fee and issued store credit. 

 

Damaged Product, Disputes, & Refused Packages

Customer has 24 hours after delivery to inform us if and products they received are damaged or has a defect, any refused shipments will incur a 25% penalty and issued a store credit. Any bank disputes resulting in store credit reactivation will incur a 50% reactivation fee and be re-issued remaining store credit immediately upon confirmation of bank resolution by customer.  

 

Store Credit

Your store credit can be used on any product and are valid for six months from issuance. To use your store credit, simply sign into your account, and checkout as you normally would. At the payment step of checking out, your store credit will automatically be applied. Items purchased with store credit as payment are final sale and non-returnable.

 

International Customers

Given the time for transit, we extend the RA period to 10 business days.  Please note shipping, taxes, or duties are the responsibility of the customer and are non-creditable upon return. For international customers, we will not reimburse return shipping charges or any taxes/duties if any. Returns received after 30 days of receipt will incur a 20% late fee.

Couture Candy accepts no risk of merchandise loss due to international shipment.

 

Sizing Recommendations:

Each designer tends to have a specific size guide, and not all designers follow size guides you normally refer to for sizing.  We highly recommend reviewing the size guide listed on the specific designer dress brand of choice before making your special occasion dress purchase.  As a general rule when in doubt of a size option, always chose the larger size. It's easy to take a dress in, but nearly impossible to add width.

 

Exchanges

If you want to exchange your item for another size just email cs@couturecandy.com. One of our staff will be happy to place a new order for you and provide an RMA for your previous purchase following our standard return policy.  

 

Price Matching:

If you find a lower price for any non-sale dress that we carry online prior to placing an order, we will match that price on your order. Call us before placing an order to tell us where we can find the current dress at a lower price on another site. Any Price Match sold will follow our sale policy which is non-returnable. The price match must be an online advertised price, it can not be from brick and mortar pricing.

Exceptions: Dress must be shown on a website that is a US based authorized retailer of the dress. Offer is not valid if the dress is shown as “sale”, “clearance”, “special”, or an auction site. Shipping charges will be considered when looking at a lower price. This offer cannot be used with any other discount, coupon, or special offer. The site must have the item in stock in size and color that you are ordering available for immediate shipping. Special Order Items do not apply.

 

No Sales Tax for Shoppers Outside of Nevada:

Sales tax is only collected for shoppers whom live and/or sending packages to a Nevada shipping address. All other states are currently exempt from paying sales tax on a purchase from DressTrendz.com. What this means is that if you live in any other state in the US besides Nevada, upon checkout you will not pay sales tax as you would in your state of origin. This saving is significant and something we encourage shoppers to consider when purchasing. In many cases, this is saving of up to 10% depending upon which state you reside.

 

Corporate Return Philosophy:

We as a business have no interest in collecting freight cost for returns or adding stocking fees to process products which come back to our warehouse as returns. We truly want our customers to be happy with their purchases. Not all products fit properly, and thus product returns are a natural element of online retailing. With that said, special occasion branded dresses, unique apparel items, and most handmade jewelry are traditionally special ordered and limited in quantity. They are also more expensive to process and ship to your home. Our return policy is in place as the best possible means to fairly reflect the economics of buying, making, and distributing these special products.
